...progressing...

it's nice that i can now make simple things without having to plan ahead or measuring anything, like randomly making a pattern out of duct tape, or knowing to make notches to evenly hand-stitch something~ at least i learned something in fashion school =p

and now there's a couple'a googly-boobly eyes that sparkle n' shine <3

if i ever did a big painting for an exhibit some day...

this would be what i would propose as an interactive game for people to participate... most drawings/paintings are made with lines/strokes. people who are interested can participate in recreating the painting by simply picking a color and making a stroke or line on the screen in front of a bigger screen where it will show how each stroke you make will be contributing to the entire piece of art. not only would this be fun, and creative, but it will allow people to feel the work put into a painting or drawing...i'm not sure if this has already been done, but i would have no clue as to how to make this actually happen...but i've met someone once who's major was actually making interactive technologies =)

"The days of card pockets inside the backsleeves of books seemed like a faded dream."

(...quoted from Haruki Murakami's "Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World")

Was inspired today from this quote...

"Pair"

Pair

While waiting in line at an outdoor coffee stand, I spotted a Great Dane standing like a miniature pony next to some parked cars. I couldn’t help but have a moment of dread, when a small child appeared from around the corner. She was shorter then the creature and she seemed to be absently walking straight for the dog’s open jaws. I expected terror and wailing to ensue once she noticed the obstruction in her way. Instead, upon reaching the animal, she took his leash, stood on her tip toes to pat his head, and walked him down the street.
